Branding in Use
2017 was the first year where Ryerson University decided to use RoadtoRyerson as its theme. This branding needed to comply with the existing overarching Ryerson University branding guidelines, yet needed to be fun. The inspiration came from transit maps which coincided with RU Student Life’s new program, Ryerson to the Core.
The creation of this branding guide included the revamping of the wordmark, updated colour schemes and the creation of graphical elements. These took the form of the retro-inspired geometric pattern as well as the line graphic.
