Hi, my name is Mina Out.
Who am I?
I am a print advertising/marketing specialist.
Printing ink is in my blood. Ever since I was 15, I’ve been involved with the family printing business, doing prepress work and helping around with production. In recent years, I’ve taken over the marketing responsibilities and putting us on the map (or you know, the internet). I’ve been using Adobe Photoshop since before Photoshop even had layers and Illustrator and InDesign back when everyone wanted a Blackberry phone.
In high school, I was the editor-in-chief of the school yearbook, handling everything from sales to managing my staff and doing editorial work. That yearbook would go on to win First Place from the Canadian National Yearbook Review. Moving onto post-secondary, I completed my Bachelor of Arts at Ryerson University in Creative Industries. On top of several business courses such as Accounting, Human Resources and Management, I specialized in Printing/Publishing and Media Business. I also completed a minor in Advertising and Publishing when I went on exchange to the Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart, Germany. It is there that I finished a traineeship in printing, and studied in courses such as Advertising Photography and Mobile Advertising and Brand Engagement.
As an individual, I am motivated to be constantly learning to improve myself. On top of an A1.1 Proficiency in German, I can also speak a little bit of Spanish, French, Cantonese and Mandarin. I have learned to use HTML and CSS, with goals to learn even more coding languages.
